WORLD YOUTH DAY 2008
Ok, for once in my entire life I would like to keep an LJ post as short and sweet as possible.  X]  So here goes...

As a few of you know, on Monday the 14th of July 2008, I began one of my lifetime's great experiences, World Youth Day '08.
World Youth Day is a worldwide week or so of festivities, concerts and fun aimed, for the youth of the world to enjoy.
This year, I was lucky enough to be able to attend one being held so close to home. (14 Hours away is close enough)  X]

Little did I know that this would turn out to be one of the most enjoyable weeks of my life so far.
This week, filled with great friends, and fantastic memories, will be one I remember forever.
A 14-hour-or-so bus trip from 6AM 'til 8PM on Monday was completely worth it!

One of the funniest things I will remember, was the time I got to see a Priest perform the Haka (Maori tribal Dance). Apart from being slightly strange, it was really funny.  X]
I actually have the video of it on my camera. I'd be happy to send it to anyone who seeks a good laugh. :P

It was a really fantastic experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone!
The next one is being held in Madrid, Spain in 2011. If you're looking for a week to spend out, meeting new people, participating in activities, spending time with friends, and generally having a great time in a completely new country, then this is the event for you! :P

I really enjoyed myself, and I will remember this experience forever.

Rhys' Monthly Randomness:
While I was crafting law runes, I decided to think of a new name for this activity, just as Woodcutting (Boring) is alternatively called Tree-Slaying (Awesome)
So, I thought long and hard, and I remembered back to my Civics and Citizenship course from the start of this year. Law making...
Aha! I will call this: Legislating!
Or, Legislaterizing, if you will.  ;)

Some extra randomness:
Tonight, on AIM, I was conversing with Hyo (Hy Ftw<33), when she decided to smiley-spam me.  X]
So, I abruptly retaliated, typing every single smiley AIM had to offer. :P

Apart from being extremely strange, they are all so cute! So we decided to name them all.  >=)
From Left to Right:
Fish-Lips, Bug-Eyed-Chin-Licker, SIr-Stare-A-Lot, Goody-Two-Shoes-Halo-head, Mr-Botox-Overdose, Kleenex, and Pretzel. (Yes, Pretzel is so famous, he even has a Smiley named after him!) <33

Let me leave you with this relatively short piece of writing I managed to compose.
~~When times are tough, and life gets me down, I know that my true friends will always be there for me. Because it is not who is there at the end that matters, it is the friends who stood by you when you were unable to stand. The friends who encouraged you when you thought that all hope was lost. The friends that believed in you when you could not, and the friends that loved you, when you thought that you were unable to be loved.
For the greatest joy in existence, is the feeling of Love and Friendship. Without these, we are be lost.
Remember to tell your friends you care about them. We should never underestimate the power of a friend.
Thankyou to everyone who has been there for me when I was down. It means the world to me.
And remember, if you EVER need someone to talk to, a shoulder to cry on, or a friendly face to smile upon,
